Dan Reilly is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and spent his most recent time living in Wilmington, North Carolina.
He attended Penn State Altoona for four years where he played Division III Volleyball for the Lions. After a change of heart and a switch of majors, he decided to take a 5th year at Penn State Main Campus in University Park, PA. During his final semester, Dan worked with the Penn State Men’s Volleyball team as an assistant manager. It was then that he realized he wanted to make coaching his profession. Following his time at Penn State, Dan moved to North Carolina with his girlfriend Nicole, where he coached indoor volleyball at Cape Fear Volleyball Club.
In his first year as assistant coach at the University of Charleston, Dan helped lead the Women's Volleyball team to a 25-13 overall record and second place in the Mountain East Conference.
Dan will be entering his second year of coaching at the University of Charleston and will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership.
